Managed Partnerships

Managed Partnership, the way forward!

Any aircraft represents a major investment and the overheads of operating such an investment can be substantial. The obvious answer is a partnership, as a partner you get nearly all the benefits of ownership with only a share of the financial burden.

The problem lies in the fact that partnerships are fraught with miscommunication and disagreement. In a Wings managed partnership, the partners only deal with the management company for all aspects of operation, the management company divides the fixed costs equally amongst the partners and recoups the direct operating costs form the individual partners per hour as they use their aircraft.

All the benefits of depreciation are still available to the individual partners as the are equity shareholders in the corporation owning the aircraft.

FAQs

What if my partners use the aircraft more than me?
Each partner only pays for the time they use the aircraft.

What if I want to sell my share?
Your partnership is essentially stock in a corporation so with the remaining partner’s approval an individual partnership can be sold.

What if two partners want to use the aircraft on the same day?
Partnerships are limited to 5 members and with this number scheduling conflicts are extremely rare, in this unlikely event the event and crew will do whatever it takes to get both partners serviced including double flight days.
