Working closely with the loss adjuster the Wings team liaises closely with the NTSB, FAA and local law enforcement to ensure a thorough professional recovery.

The Wings team’s clear understanding of what it takes to recover, document and securely store aircraft wreckage ideally positions us to respond quickly and effectively. With access to heavy lift helicopters, barge mounted cranes, heavy equipment, dive personnel, aircraft maintenance personnel and current Fire Department personnel Wings can effectively respond to every situation whenever, wherever.

Once appointed by the loss adjuster, the Wings team will gain authorized access to the crash site, secure the scene; liaise with the appropriate authorities and affect a recovery. Subsequent to the on site recovery the Wings team will conduct a full site clean up operation and secure written releases from the involved land owners avoiding future claims against the insurance company.

The aircraft wreckage is taken to our secure location where it is cleaned, photographed, cataloged and individually warehoused. This storage area becomes point of contact for the NTSB, FAA, Law enforcement and insurance company personnel to review and inspect the wreckage as needed until the insurance company releases the salvage for destruction or sale.
